The Lenovo IdeaPad S205 is one of the first laptops to sport a shiny new AMD E-350 chip which offers high performance graphics and moderate performance everything else with a total power draw of just about 18W. While I haven’t had a chance to really test the laptop yet, I did get a few minutes to snap a couple of photos last night.
The S205 has an attractive, almost MacBook-like chiclet-style keyboard and a 11.6 inch, 1366 a 768 pixel display. Around the sides you’ll find 3 USB ports, VGA and HDMI outputs, an Ethernet port, mic and headphone jacks, and a flash card reader.
Overall, the laptop has an attractive design for a portable notebook with a starting price of $499, although I wouldn’t mind seeing a larger touchpad. The Lenovo IdeaPad S205 is expected to go on sale in March.
Then U got this one in which country? I love this pink one 🙁 but don’t know where to buy it.
Hi brad,
did the s205 come in silver with a pink lid?
Or is this a mistake due to flash/reflection ??
Please let me know.
This particular unit had a pink lid, but several color options will be available.
So it was silver on the interior?
The s205 is available here in germany for a couple of days, but in black only. Im looking for a silver one with a non-pink lid.
I even called the lenovo hotline over here to ask about the colors – they didnt even know that it was already on sale.
Can you say if a silver one with a dark lid will be available?
I want the s205 bad.
Thanks!
Yup, the inside was silver/gray. Unfortunately the color options are going to vary from country to country. I have no information about the availability of a silver model in Germany.
