It’s not like we haven’t already seen under the hood of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7 inch Android tablet. Jkkmobile took one apart recently to see what makes it tick. But nobody does dissections quite like the folks at iFixit, and for good reason: They want to find out what it takes to repair broken products. So they put the Galaxy Tab under the knife… and all sorts of other gear you need to use to take this little guy apart.

So if you’ve been wondering how to pry apart the tablet, what it looks like with the screen popped off, where exactly the RAM and CPU are hiding, and what kind of heat gun you need to use to separate the Gorilla Glass panel from the case, iFixit has the answers, along with a beautiful series of photos.
