The Pioneer DreamBook ePad L11 is an 11.6 inch tablet with a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N450 processor and Windows 7. What really makes this tablet exciting is that while it has netbook-like internals, it comes with some top of the line netbook options including NVIDIA ION graphics, a high resolution 1366 x 768 pixel display, and 16GB through 64GB of solid state disk storage. Bluetooth and 3G options are also available.

Pioneer first introduced the ePad L11 last month, But now the folks at Gizmag have uncovered a release date. The tablet should go on sale in Australia in September for abotu $699 Australian (which is about $637 US).

The tablet also has 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Bluetoth 2.1, and a 4800mAh battery. It has a capacitive multitouch display and a 1.3MP webcam built in. The computer runs Windows 7 Home Premium.

  1. I am still not convinced that Windows 7 makes a good touch screen OS… This is why Apple and Google developed specific, unique, customized operating systems for touch screen devices. Apple didn’t take OS X and just put it in a tablet…

  2. This is probably the same hardware as the EXOPC, WeTab and the Masterpad, right?

Which one will be available first? 🙂
