Asus is already working on tablets running Windows 7 and Windows Embedded Compact 7. Now it looks like Asus subsidiary AGAiT could be taking another approach, with an ARM-based tablet running Google Android or Google Chrome.

The tablet will reportedly be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, and it will likely be available in the developing world. AGAiT tends to focus on countries such as china, India, Brazil, and Russia. But if the company puts out an Android or Chrome tablet that proves successful, I wouldn’t be shocked to see Asus rebrand the device and offer it in developed markets.
