1&1 introduces 7 inch Android tablet in Germany

German internet provider 1&1 has unveiled a tablet that it will offer to customers. The 1&1 SmartPad will have a 7 inch touchscreen display and run Google Android. the tablet will feature 802.11b/g/n WiFi, and will work with an optional USB 3G modem.

The tablet should be available in July, and the company plans to offer the SmartPad first to new customers, although it will also be made available to exisitng customers soon.

There’s no word on the processor, memory, or storage specs, but the tablet will come with a 2GB SD card.
