The $699 version comes with a 60GB hard drive, not the 64GB SSD. It also doesn't include the spare battery or a rebate. You have to go all the way up to the $857 (price after rebate) version for that.

It's definitely the prettiest convertible netbook out there. I just wish it was either 1) $300 cheaper, or 2) performed significantly better than other 10″ convertible netbooks like the S10-3t. Personally, I would find it very hard indeed to justify paying such a huge premium for looks alone.

Definitely, a price drop would make these things a lot more attractive. Especially when tablets start hitting the market.

Hmm…the email I received said it was the 60GB SSD…anyone else able to confirm?

According to the Dynamism website, the $699 model has a plain old hard drive (no SSD) and only Windows XP (no good for multitouch).

Sorry, nothing with an atom is worth that kind of money. They want us to forget the cpu is one of the more expensive components in a computer. The Pentium 2.1(I have 2 of them) are fairly low power and much more power. For me the atom is is the $300 range.

I have Viliv S10 Blade, and i love it's great looking design. The best thing about this is no noise is there because it is fanless. Battery life at around 7 hours with WiFi on is amazing part of this.

Yeah, I agree with Charles, too expensive for a netvertible. The 128GB option is totally unreasonable. Windows 7 requires the extra muscle. Too bad!
