There's quite a lot on the web about this, just recycling what's on the Asus site. But this posting is the only one I've seen that mentions April availability. Is this reliable information?

Too bad all new net tops come with a crippled os. I am glad I bought mine while xp was still available. Who wants windows starter, a ploy by MS to get more money out of you. These of running netbooks are capable of running the windows 7 home premium. I spent $349. for a Dell ino HD with home premium. If no one buys the windows starter edition, they will be forced to put home premium edition on
them. I would guess there would be no difference in battery life between the two.
