Took advantage of stackable coupons to get the high-spec (Black) U150 for about $550, and am pleased so far. For whatever reason, you're exactly right: file-copy tasks, whether locally, over Eth or Wireless-N, are wickedly fast!

Again, another great review from Brad! Love the article. Are you as excited about the U1 as I am? We just did a short review on it a few weeks ago, after we got a glimpse of it at CES. I was amazed. I'm wondering how close to the U150 it will compare. Keep us updated!

IdeaPad U1

I've gotten some pretty crazy results a few times with this test, and I'm
starting to think the problem is the way I'm applying the test, not some
major difference between the computers. I'll probably phase it out soon and
maybe use some other measure of hard drive/file transfer speed.

Thanks for the great review. I bought the U150 during the winter sale and got something comparable to the Asus variations for a best value buy.

Is your ZS3 sleeve the 10.8 or 11.4 inch sleeve?
I measure my U150 across and it’s around 11.5 inches as spec’d.
So did you really buy a 11.4 inch sleeve or is there enough wiggle room in a 10.8 to accomodate 0.7 more inches in width?

<a href="http://newyorkliposuctionsurgeon.com/"rel=follow rel="nofollow">New York liposuctions

Excellent review Brad. I am quite curious about the folder copy test. Its so fast. But this is illogical, the copying depends on the OS and not hardware, so, how can this be different?

If it is so, Microsoft must speak to Lenovo and come out with a patch.
