Some of their other products do offer linux as a +$15 upcharge so they might get it as an option here as well. I know I'd pay not to get WinCE. The bigger problem is the international shipping. They won't give shipping charges until after you fill out the shipping details but the default for the country field is Colombo so you do the math. And if you ordered more than one you probably wouldn't be able to avoid import duties.

A US distributor for their products is really needed.

I am definitely buying one.

A 300Mhz processor is good enough to surf the web, As Mikez said, processor speed is relative. You know, you can even surf the web well in a Pentium 166MMX (1997 machine).

I am so happy sexy gadgets are now open to the masses and the poor.

Now, everyone can own a kind of iphone.

I would definitely consider this unit at or very close to this price point…with Linux, I gave up on Win CE about 4 years ago, and never looked back. This appears to have a better size, price and flexibility than the iPad or even n900.
