When I got a chance to check out the Entourage Edge dual-screen eBook reader/Android tablet/netbook/kitchen sink at CES last month, I was told it would be available in February for $490. You may have noticed that we’re deep into February already and the Edge isn’t available for purchase yet.

Engadget reports it won’t be… until March. The company has pushed back the release date by a few weeks and bumped the price up from $490 to a whopping $499. Yeah, I don’t think that’s enough of a change to discourage anyone who’s been lusting for this dual-screen eBook reader from buying one. The question is… has anyone been lusting for one?

The Entourage Edge is definitely one of the more original devices I saw at CES. One screen features a high contrast, low power e-Ink display while the other sports a full color display and the Google Android operating system. You can drag images from the B&W screen to the color LCD to view in all their colorful glory. And you can mark up the e-Ink display with a stylus to take notes on the books you’re reading.

But the Edge is big and clunky for an eBok reader and kind of awkward for a tablet or netbook. Still, originality counts for something, right?
