The Eee PC 1001P is the cheapest of the new Pine Trail netbooks from Asus. It features the same basic guts as its more expensive cousins, the Eee PC 1005PE and Eee PC 1008P Karim Rashid Edition. But the 1001P has a lower capacity battery and lacks the 802.11n and Bluetooth wireless connectivity options available on those models. On the up side, the 1001p sells for as little as $299.

But if you needed any confirmation that the Eee PC 1001P is cut from the same cloth as its siblings, look no further than nDevil. The German site has posted a series of photos of the computer’s innards.

There’s a panel on the base of the netbook that you can open by removing a single screw to replace or upgrade the RAM. But if you want to do anything more complicated, you’ll ned to undo all the screws on the bottom of the computer and remove the keyboard. This gives you access to the hard drive, motherboard, and other components.

You can check out more photos at nDevil.
