The FCC has published several documents related to a new line of mini-laptops from Chinese PC maker Sharetronic. I haven’t really heard of this company before, and somehow I doubt we’ll see any of these models released in the US under the Sharetronic brand name anytime soon. But we could see a US company rebrand the notebooks and sell them under a different name.

Spec-wise, the computers aren’t that special. The base models seem to feature a 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 processor and GMA 950 integrated graphics. But at least some of the models will be available with an HDMI port, which would seem to imply that better graphics, or at least a Broadcom Crystal HD video accelerator could be available as options.

The most interesting aspect is that the laptops will be available with several screen sizes: 10.0″, 11.1″, 11.6″ and 12.1″. The 10 inch model has a 1024 x 600 pixel display while the rest have high resolution 1366 x 768 pixel screens.The notebooks weigh between 2.5 and 2.9 pounds with a 3 cell, 3 hour battery.
