I think I will officially stop reading any Pine trail netbook announcements. I just can't get past the snake oil salesman aspect of the “new” Atom. It's like have a big juicy steak (long battery life) and then after eating it, you have another fresh steak brought to you (even longer battery life). Sure it's nice to have more steak but you're full. A dessert (speed) is a lot more desirable. Pine trail can eat me. Intel accomplished their mission. Stunt the growth of netbooks. Pine trail isn't worth the price of the paper or the bandwidth that it's getting. It's a farse. My last comment is that it's a total joke for any company to release an update processor that offers no speed increase. Because of that, Pine trail stories should ultimately be banned from the internet. That wouldn't happen, but that sums up how I feel about it. The fact that all the manufacturers are releasing new netbooks supporting Pine trail makes me a bit suspicious. A complete and utter f'n joke.
