HP Pro MS218 all-in-one business PC looks familiar

HP’s latest all-in-one desktop looks a lot like the HP Pavilion MS214 I recently reviewed. But while the MS214 is aimed at consumers, the HP Pro All-in-One MS218 is aimed at business users.

The $699 base model ships with Windows 7 Professional 64-bit, a dual core AMD Athlon X2 3250e CPU, 2GB of RAM, a 250GB, 7200RPM hard drive, ATI Radeon 3200 graphics. It has a DVD burner, integrated flash card reader, 802.11b/g WiFi, and an 18.5 inch, 1366 x 768 pixel display.

In other words, the only real difference I can see between the HP Pro MS218 and the HP Pavilion MS214 is the fact that the Pro version runs Windows 7 Pro instead of Windows 7 Home Premium. Oh yeah, and it also costs about $50 more.

Of course, once any business gets this they will replace the Microsoft OS with a Linux OS.

Or set up the machine to dual boot and disable TIP/IP on the Microsoft machine so it will not get invaded from the web. Then you can turn off any bloatware and anti-virus stuff on it.

In a dual boot of LINUX and Microsoft, Ubuntu and others can now write and read files to and from Microsoft's NTFS partitions…

Who cares bout Linux, no one uses that. Maybe except for some gov-institutions in European Union, no one else…

And this is pc is best solution for those who needs mobility, but don't want notebook. Or for those who have used to iMacs…
