I have one, but the battery life is really bad. With the wireless internet turned off you're lucky if it last an hour and a half - not five hours!

Integrating the mouse buttons and simultaneously including multi-touch gestures is a bad idea. The system has a bit of trouble differentiating multi-touching and click-dragging. However, I turned off the multi-touch and learned to click & drag. Also, the mouse clicks require a firm touch; lightly right-clicking will left-click just like tapping anywhere else on the touchpad.

This looks like a winner to me as well. I am really digging the new matte lids and without those swirly designs that HP likes to use. I can see me having a hard pick between this and the Lenovo e100 can't wait until you do a real hands on video.

Looks like this is going to be a big hit. Its great to get a display that is matte finally. But sadly, no improvement in weight. Its still quite heavy with a 6 cell. Even a 3 cell, its over 1.22 Kgs, so the 6 cell would be over 1.4Kgs? That is pretty heavy for a 10 inch netbook.

Aren't netbook and notebook manufacturers interested in reducing the weight of the machines and lessening the strain on people's shoulders anymore?

Indeed, no real progress in terms of mobility. At least the smartbooks are 700 to 800g in weight and somethign to look forward too.
