HP still hasn’t come out and officially introduced the new HP Mini 210 netbook. But last it started showing up at online retail sites. And now HP has even gone and uploaded a support page, complete with software and driver downloads.

Downloads are available for Windows 7, Vista, XP, and 2000. 32-bit and 64-bit versions are available as well. So it seems safe to say that the HP Mini 210 will support a range of operating systems, although it’s not clear whether HP will actually offer the laptop preloaded with those options.

Drivers are available for the HP Quick Launch buttons, Atheros LAN card, chipset, and graphics. There’s also a Bluetooth driver, which indicates that Bluetooth will be available, at least as an option. There’s also a download for the Qualcomm Gobi2000 mobile broadband module which supports international 3G connectivity as well as GPS.

Update: The folks at MyHPMini found the user guide, which hints at two interesting things:

  1. A multitouch touchpad
  2. An optional touchscreen available on selected models

It's interesting that HP has not made it official despite the drivers pages and manual…

    Thanks Brad!

Uh oh, looks like HP has confused its product release order of operations. Without even a hint of an official announcement, the HP 210 netbook has appeared in two quadrants of the internet: retail and troubleshooting.
