I'm running Chrome OS from a flash drive on my EeePC 900A right now. It's pretty awesome! It boots fast hell and even stores my wi-fi key on the flash drive, which connects immediately. Since the security is amazing and no Windows malware will run on it, this will be my primary OS for any type of commerce, including banking.
