I'm always on the lookout for a nice new FLA (four letter acronym): WHDI™ (Wireless Home Digital Interface™). I think i'll call it "whiddie" :).

I see from the press release at Brad's link that Amimon is going to provide adapter dongles for any HDTV, netbook, or other device with an HDMI connector.

I always knew there must be some reason why I wanted an HDMI connector on my netbooks. Well here's the reason :).

Also, now maybe there's hope that I can finally get rid or the dust-collecting maze of wires behind my TV, cable box, DVD recorder, Blu-Ray player, etc.

I would rathere see it as an USB device. This way one can use it with ones current netbook and not have to replace the pci-express card. It would also appeal to not just netbook users but to any one whos computer has an USB port.
