I hightly doubt that. The Nvidia ION is already a new thing in netbooks. (HP Mini 311, Lenovo S12, Samsung N510)
And this Asus netbook will be the fourth to be released with an ION chip. However, it is also the first to have the 300 series dual-core.

The other three netbooks are all priced at $400 and up. $400 is the stock HP Mini311 with 1GB RAM and WinXP. Lenovo S12's 3GB edition is a little under $600. Samsung N510 doesn't even have a MSRP, according to Google.

So in other words, I'm guessing this baby will cost in the 600-800 range. Then again, it is overpowered for what 95% of consumers would use it for. Don't believe the hype.

The Aspire 1410 is now $399, and was released at $449, and it uses a CULV. I would expect these to come in under $500.

I wonder what this will cost when it gets released. The culv stuff is starting at the low 600, high 500 range. Think this will be any cheaper?

Hmm dual core Atom + ION… i could like this!

While the N330 has a higher TDP of 8w it's still less than the CULV's 10w.

Add in ION and you have an interesting competitor to the not quite netbook CULV devices on the horizon.

You know, assuming this wasn't just a typo.
