It looks like those Asus eBook readers the company promised us a few months ago could be available in the US and Europe as early as March, 2010. The company has already stated it has plans to release devices with 6 and 9 inch e-Ink displays and possibly a dual-screen, touch-friendly model. But now it looks like Asus also plans to offer eBook readers supporting a range of internet connectivity options including WiFi, 3G, and WiMAX.
Asus has built a name for itself by providing low cost netbooks over the past few years.
The company is expected to make an official announcement about its plan for digital book devices before the end of the year.
