Definitely want one. Just need a good excuse . . . Why couldn't they build in a phone w/bluetooth. That would do it.

Maybe it is just too awkward, but one thing all these tablets are missing is some form of camera. Why in the world would you need a camera? Well, originally, I was thinking digitizing slot, but I've found from experience that a 3.2 MP camera with reasonable optics can “photocopy” a magazine article with enough resolution to read or print full size.

I guess my use model would be to have this replace a lab notebook/journal/whatever. You could write in it, draw in it, paste pictures that you took, etc. At least, that's what I'd like to see!

Even if you don't like CE, I bet that someone will have an ARM-based Linux distro running on this in no time flat.

This is the right size in my view. 5″ a bit too small and 9″ (Archos, Apple's alleged tablet etc) is too big.

Nothing wrong with CE. Some really good devices use it…

It should also run Opera Mini, which is great on WinMo. At 0.55″ thick and under a pound — and with HDMI out — this could be a nifty little gadget.

At $299 or less (taking out VAT and the Euro import tax), this is enticingly close to what I would pay just to have a cute little tablet, even though I can't think of any reason in the world why I need one.
