aspire revo 3600

If you’ve been holding off on picking up an Acer Aspire Revo nettop until the dual core option was available, it looks like the wait is almost over. Acer is launching a version of this tiny desktop computer with a 1.6GHz Atom 330 dual core processor, 4GB of RAM, HDMI output, and NVIDIA ION graphics today at IFA in Berlin.

The new model is called the Acer Aspire Revo 3600, and like its siblings it has a VESA mount that lets you attach the computer to the back of a monitor to pretend you have an all-in-one desktop PC.

No word on the price or availability yet.

  1. I just bought the Acer Aspire Revo r3600 with the dual core processor, its only got 2 gig of memory but it’s running lovely. It comes with a few software packages that were removed straight away, like Mcafee antivirus, it was slowing it down and i’ll put that down to the software. It has plenty of usb slots and a sata port. I would recommend spending a few extra pounds/dollars on a wireless keyboard as it very neatly fits to the back of my t.v and i’m writing this from my arm char. Have fun this a great buy.

    1. Gary,
Where did you find the dual core revo for sale?

      I can’t find it anywhere.

      1. I bought it in Belfast, i’ll check what the name of the shop was when i finish work. Sorry for the delay or the reply

      2. I bought one at Frys in CA a few months ago, came with wireless mouse and keybord and BlueTooth dongleall for $319. Great deal but took a lot longer to set up than the iMac I also bought.

  2. Hey quite an informative article. I really like the specifications. I bought an Acer Timeline 4810T a month ago and its really doing well. The Acer is celebrating 10 years in India on 9-Sep-09. There are many that will swear by their Acer laptop computers and this is amply evident when you come across a great many advertisements expounding on the virtues of such laptops. However, it is not such a good idea to go by advertising claims alone and it is also necessary to first check out different manufacturers and sees what’s on offer before making a considered decision. It should give you peace of mind that Acer is a worldwide company and it is known for providing practical and first-rate solutions for the marketplace. For this reason it will be worthwhile to consider an Acer Timeline. No wonder they are leaders in notebook market in India.

    1. It’s been a long day. Or rather a short day without enough caffeine.

Sorry about the misleading title. It’s been updated!
