igo netbook charger

Computer and electronics accessory maker iGo has introduced a new universal charger for netbooks designed to recharge netbook batteries using a variety of outlets including:

  • Wall outlets
  • Airplane outlets
  • Car outlets

The charger works worldwide without a voltage converter, and includes a USB connector that lets you charge a cellphone or other electronic device at the same time as you’re charging up your netbook. The universal kit includes power tips for netbooks from Asus, Acer, Dell, HP, Lenovo, LG, Sony, and Toshiba.

You can pick up a wall-charging only version for $49.99 while the full version that also works on cars and airplanes will set you back $69.99.

The charger should be available soon from iGo.com, or you can pre-order it from Amazon.
