I've got the Acer 751, which has the same processor. It's lags a little more than the other Atom processors, but I don't find it bothersome. I really like the little machine.

HOWEVER, I think it depends on what you find acceptable. For instance, CNET reviewers of the Acer 751 (with Z520 CPU) said they occasionally felt like throwing it out a window due to the slowdown!

If you think you'd fall in that camp, maybe look at the Acer 1410 or the Dell 11z (though the Dell gets miserable battery life). Those guys come with Core 2 Solo processors. About twice the speed of the Atom. About 1/2 or 1/3 the speed of a Core 2 Duo.

I bought one for my sister last Saturday !!

It really does go 11 hours

The design is unmatched (especially the built-in trackpad in the shell)

The keyboard is amazing, your hands just relax with all the room

It's not that slow, maybe it's the hyper-threading or the CPU is real-time overclocking but whatever it is it works just great with multiple tabs, MediaPlayer, Word, Powerpoint etc all going at the same time.

Easily the best Netbook I have ever seen.

It's very cheap for the features it offers.
