Acer Veriton N260G nettop coming to America

veriton n260g

Sure, the Acer Veriton N260G looks like a rebranded version of the Acer AspireRevo nettop. But it’s got a gray case instead of a black one, OK? The N260G also lacks the NVIDIA ION graphics that make the AspireRevo so attractive. But like the AspireRevoe, the Veriton N260G is a small, low power desktop PC that would probably look pretty good mounted behind your monitor. You know, assuming your monitor is a bit larger than the one shown in the picture above.

Actually, given the nettop’s specs and size, it might be more at home sitting behind your HDTV in order to add a little web browsing capability to your home theater.  It has a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N280 CPU, Intel GMA 4500M graphics, a 160GB hard drive, and 1GB of RAM. The nettop should already be available in the US for around $399.

as usual, it's twice the price it should be.
