Active Media has introduced a series of solid state disks designed for Asus Eee PC netbooks. The  SSDs come in sizes ranging from 16GB to 64Gb and should work with Eee PC 900, 900A, 901, or S101 series netbooks.

The Active Media SaberTooth-S SSDs are available in 16GB and 32GB sizes and have read speeds of up to 90MB/s and write speeds up to 55MB/s. These models sell for between about $60 and $100.

The company also has a higher end SaberTooth-SS range that comes in 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB flavors, and which have read speeds up to 155MB/s and write speeds up to 100MB/s. These SSDs start at around $80 and go for as much as $220 for the 64GB version.
