I am gonna agree with Bob on this one. I have to decided which processor upgrade I would prefer as well. I guess I will be waiting until I see the prices. This system was amazing besides the processor and maybe we could get a 9 cell battery upgrade.

Sorry TrackSmart, I have to disagree with you. The only reason I didn't plop down over $600 is because I refused to pay all that cash and have a crappy internet experience. I want to stream Hulu perfectly. That's all that stopped me from getting the dv2.

It sounds like these updates are right up my alley. My only decision now is if I want the Congo or Athlon X2 CPU.

I'm also happy that they've changed to a white keyboard. That'll make fingerprints a little less obvious.

The low-power Neo processor only afforded 2 hrs of battery life if I recall. Are they going down to 1.5 hrs next?

It was poor battery life and high price that prevented this model from becoming a hit with consumers. Not performance. If the orignal version sold for less money and got 5-6 hrs of battery life (like atom-powered netbooks), it would have done well.

I hope they solve the battery life issue on these new versions...
