Computer maker Fujiyama is introducing a number of mini-laptops with 11.1 inch or smaller screens. One of the most interesting is the E-PC E-1001, which features a 10.2 inch, 1024 x 600 pixel touchscreen that can be folded down over the top of the keyboard for use in tablet mode.
There’s no word on pricing yet, so it’s hard to say how this netbook will stack up against the Gigabyte Touch Note or Asus Eee PC T101H. But the rest of the specs look pretty typical for a 10 inch netbook: 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 CPU, 1GB of RAM, 160GB hard drive, Bluetooth, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, a 4-in-1 card reader, and Windows XP. The netbook comes with a 4 cell, 4500mAh battery.
The company will likely have this netbook and several others on display at Computex in Taiwan next month.
