That is the mini-usb connector your seeing – -
A 'standard' size – just not the 'full size' usb connector.

Adapters are common – but your correct in that it will
require a handful of adapters. A minor hassle.

Ok, I just checked out their official site and it says that it “can make a decent home-theater PC.” I'm definitely getting one if I can find a good USB tuner. My current HTPC is my old retired 2.66GHz P4 running WinMCE 2005. I have a dual tuner card in it with hardware encoding. I'll have to start looking at some external tuners.
