An aftermarket USB TV tuner is cheaper and smaller (though it also has an external antenna on a suction cup or magnet), so I don't see the point of this gizmo.

I'm actually using an ATSC OTA tuner for my Home Theater PC right now.
While I can only pick up about a dozen channels, the picture quality
is excellent, better than what you'll get from most cable or satellite
boxes.

I think that is the external antenna, it looks like it has a suction cup to mount it anywhere. If it is wireless and helps with reception, this is a good thing.

$50 seems expensive when you can get a USB digital TV tuner for a whole lot less. Especially when the $50 tuner still sticks out like that.

TV? Over air TV?

Well where's the brass & oak morse code key as well?

Maybe, they could fit the computer out with a jauny pony & trap so when Gandalf the Grey come to town you can haul fireworks to the Hobbits.
