so you're thinking it's a super high voltage battery with the 1005HA-Hs? I think if the battery life is comparable to the 1000HE and the price is about the same it seems like a good deal. I wonder if it will be released in the US soon though cause the 1000HE is only a few months old. They seem to be update their netbooks too quickly!

I was just about to explain that but you beat me to it. It seems like a lot of people these days compare mAh to each other just like we used to with clock speeds. Bigger is better.

Forget about the mAh, that number doesn't mean anything, without the voltage.
You can only compare Watthours Wh = Ah * V

the 1000HE has 7,4V * 8,7Ah ==> 64 Wh

I couldn't imagine that too, the voltage had to be verry high, so i doubt too, that this 6 cell battery has only 2,8 Ah.

But you cannot compare the mAh's of the 1005 with the mAh's of the 1000HE
