I've owned a few Asus netbooks.

While I agree that the 1000he is pretty great, and probably one of the best values going right now (I'm typing this message on one). I don't know that I'd say it's the only interesting netbook that Asus offers. If you want something smaller, the 900ha is an excellent nine inch option, and probably one of the best netbook deals going.

Wow, it took them that long to realize that. I'm also glad that Asus started the whole netbook craze, but all those models made a lot of eyes roll.

Asus has only one real netbook… the 1000HE. It's so much better than everything else they offer that it makes every other Asus notebook look uninteresting (except maybe the N10-J* if you really want decent video performance).

I give all the credit in the world to Asus for developing the Netbook. I would really like to see them succeed. But they desperately need help with their marketing.

The way they introduce new models is part of the problem. The way they name them is another part. Their web site is abut as unhelpful as it can possibly be, another big part of the problem. Once they fix these things up, a little advertising would be helpful
