Lenovo, LG netbooks with 3G hit the FCC

Two new items popped up on the FCC web site this week: One appears to be a 9 inch netbook with a 3G modem from Lenovo, while the other looks like the LG X110 3G mini-laptop that’s already available in Europe. AT&T has already stated that it plans to sell the LG netbok for $249.99 after rebate to customers who sign up for long term service plans, so to be honest I’m kind of surprised that the X110 hadn’t already been cleared by the FCC.

As for the Lenovo, this is the the first indication that the Lenovo IdeaPad S9 might become available in the US. While Lenovo has been selling the 9 inch version of its netbook overseas for a while, only the 10 inch model has been available stateside so far.
