Fujitsu has unveiled its latest netbook, the Loox M series notebook with a 10.1 inch display. The computer has the same cookie cutter specs as dozens of other netbooks, but just in case you’ve been hiding under a rock, here they are again: 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 CPU, 1GB of RAM (user upgradeable to 2GB), 160GB hard drive, 802.11b/g WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1, and a 10.1 inch, 1024 x 576 pixel display. It weighs about 2.6 pounds and meaures 10.2″ x 7.4″ x 1.3″.

Fujitsu is asking ¥59,800 or abotu $610 for this netbook in Japan.

The one thing the Fujitsu Loox M does have going for it is a rather attractive design. It comes in red, white, or black. You can check out some more photos after the break.

Fujitsu makes high quality gear, but with “me too” specs it is pretty hard to justify the price.

    Agreed. A solid name brand.
Too bad about the “me too” specs.
And the keyboard with the shift key in the “wrong place”.
Somebody should 'nuke the factory making that keyboard!

This is the M2010, right? It will initially be equipped with the usual Intel Atom N270 (1.6GHz, 512 L2 Cache, 533 MHz) processor. However, Fujitsu promises it will be available wih the Atom N280 CPU in June.
