Samsung N110

Samsung has posted a product page for the N110 netbook. First announced earlier this week, the N110 is an incremental update to the popular Samsung NC10. It’s about the same size and shape as its predecessor, but the case has rounded corners and the screen is glossy. Samsung also claims that the 6 cell battery is good for up to 9.5 hours, which is about two hours longer than the NC10.

Other than that, there’s not a ton of new information, other than the exact dimensions (10.27″ x 7.3″ x 1.19″). The site also claims that the netbook weighs .83 pounds including the battery, but I’m going to go out on a limb and assume that’s a typo.

Whoah, the new machine does not support 2GB system memory like the NC10, according to Samsung N110 it only supports 1GB….wanna bet Microsoft asked for that.

    Look at the side-by-side here:

I wonder if the battery will fit the NC10.

Umm, they call N10 a mini-notebook, not a netbook as you said in ythe sentence “Samsung has posted a product page for the N110 netbook. ”

I also notied last week while I was registering my NC10 that they call the a mini notebook…that actully caused me problems because I was having a hard time regersting my Sammy because it wasn't listed under the site's netbook tab.

Excuse if my english won't so good, I'm italian,…anyway…I also see in specification sheet that N110 doesn't support 2Gb of RAM, but if you see this photo at this link

    http://www.laptopmag.com/review/newgallery.aspx…

you can notice that there is still the cover for the substitution of the RAM. So…Maybe an error on the specs page?I hope so…

What is with all the glossy screens on ultraportable systems?
I was expecting to buy one of Samsung's upcoming models, but that crap means I have to look elsewhere.

    Hey guys,
just recognized that samsung.com says that the maximum memory for the N110 is 1GB is this true?? would be a reason for me to purchase the NC10 special edition instead of the new model, because the only difference is the design (which I prefer on the N110) and the possibility to upgrade to 2GB Ram (which i of course prefere on the NC 10 Special Edition)

can anybody tell if its just a mistake of samsung??
    HELP :)

Samsung just updated the product page to show that the new model *does* support 2GB.
