7 properly due to Video Issues. (Black screen on boot or after hibernate) Seems strange as it’s almost the same hardware as my Acer Apire One. Not a good choice for Windows 7 yet but it’s Great as an XP netbook.

Just bought one only to find that it DOESN RUN Windows 7 properly due to Video Issues. (Black screen on boot or after hibernate) Seems strange as it's almost the same hardware as my Acer Apire One. Not a good choice for Windows 7 yet but it's Great as an XP netbook.

Anyone know whether the 1008HA will have a 3G modem? Why don't more (i.e. all) of these machines have 3G modems? It seems such an obvious step.

This does look nice…And yes, I am most interested in the battery life. It better be at least as good as the 1000H, which I bought last summer. if not, I will be disappointed. Otherwise, this seems great. I'm just waiting for the new microprocessor to come out before I get a new laptop, though. Just imagine something that size with maybe 2.4 Ghz processors in it. If you already have anything with the Intel Atom in it, might as well wait for that. If you got a previous iteration of the Eee, then yeah, definitely get this. :3
