so, now, I can protect my keyboard from the wear and tear of everyday use. I am happy that soft silicone material acts as an absorbent to lessen the impact in the event of the unit being tossed or dropped, its quite functional.

I suppose it is only apt that as this technology goes full circle and returns to the calculator-style keyboards we had on early home computers, that similar accessories become available. I remember having a pack of about twenty of these for my ZX Spectrum that could be annotated with the keyboard functions for flight simulations, Elite etc etc… Bit cheaper too.
