The Asus Eee PC 1000HE is currently at the top of Amazon’s bestselling computer list. It has a combination of attractive features including the new Intel Atom N280 CPU, a new and improved keyboard, a wide touchpad, and 802.11b/g/n WiFi. But right now it’s only available in black or blue. If you want it in white… or another color, you may have to wait a little longer.

But if you just can’t wait to see what other colors will be available, Laptop Spirit has posted a series of high resolution images of the netbook in black, white, blue, pink, gold, and gray. I’m sure Asus will come up with better names for the colors than that, because computer makers love to do that sort of thing. But I’m not convinced that describing a color as “charcoal gray” is any more descriptive than just calling it gray. But I will say the gray model appears to have a brushed metal finish which is quite nice looking.
