Hands on with the Acer Aspire One D150 – Video

  • Email

The Acer Aspire One D150 netbook is a new model with a 10.2 inch, 1024 x 600 pixel display and a 1.6 GHz Intel Atom N270 processor. Sascha from Netbook News.de managed to pick one up in Taipei in advance of the netbook’s US launch date.

The mini-laptop has a larger display than the original Aspire One, and a higher capacity battery that’s good for up to 7 hours of use. But Sascha says he’s not that impressed with the look and feel of the netbook, especially when you compare it to similar machines from Asus, HP, and Dell which have a more professional look.

You can check out Sascha’s hands-on video and first impressions after the break.

    Bummer, glossy display – PASS…

Haha, Sascha's funny when he clowned on the Acer. He does have a point when he compared the D150 to the NC10.

I'm still picking this one up. Acer is great. Still can't understand why they went with the glossy display again. After all the complaints from the 8.9 version.

NC10 seems great except it has Nano particles on the Keyboard, Toxic? This is not very well tested in humans! Would have gotten one if not for this.

My Acer 8.9 died just after 2 months and had to go back for fix, took a month to get fixed, new motherboard!! Was told by store tech that 1 in 50 had this problem!

Still find it useful hope it doen't crash again any time soon.
