I wouldn't compare the trackpad size when the 1000he looks and weighs as much as a 12" laptop.

This NC10 owner couldn't give you one complaint about the screen. It is as close to perfect (for me) as I could want. Thank God they didn't make it glossy.

I'd like to know how the screens compare. Samsung has a well-earned reputation for making some of the very best computer screens.

While every other manufacture has found there niche in the netbook market Asus does not seem to be sure as to what there niche actually is. Although they where the first on the seen, it seems as if they have gotten carried away with producing netbooks. They have so many different models that are offered to it is confusing to just keep up. So many of the models from last year are being discontinued with less than a 1 year life cycle in production. While other manufactures Acer, Lenovo, HP, MSI, have all stayed pretty consistent in there product line. So my advise to Asus is; stop confusing customers with all you different configurations of a netbook offer the standard configuration and maybe a configuration for handling multi-media I think this would help stable the production and would give the consumer base simple and easy choices to choose from. Oh! one more thing keep them under the $500 price tag (hint to Sony)

Brad,

I think you got your pricing wrong. The 1000HE isn't $445. It is cheaper. While the 1000HE seems to be a great unit, I will stick with my NC10. It is about as large as I would go and still call it a netbook.
