Velocity Micro has announced a new netbook that looks a lot like many of the machines I saw at the CES International Gateway. I’m guessing that there’s a single company in China or Taiwan that’s pumping these cases out and reselling them to distributors like Velocity Micro.

The Velocity Micro version is called the Notemagix M10, and it sports a 10.1 inch display, a 4 cell battery, which the company claims is good for 5 hours, 802.11b/g WiFi connectivity, and Windows XP. The mini-laptop weighs about 2.6 pounds and also comes with a “custom carrying case made of wet suit-grade neoprene.” According to Notebook Review, the netbook has a 1.6GHz Intel Atom CPU, but I didn’t see that info anywhere on the press release.

The Velocity NoteMagix M10 should be available this spring for about $379.
