Sotec C102 drops the Hello Kitty theme

  • Email

sotec-c102The Sotec C102 netbook looks and acts an awful lot like the company’s C101 “Hello Kitty” branded netbook. But the new model looks a little more business-like, with a solid black or silver color scheme.

Under the hood, it’s pretty much the same machine, with a 10.1 inch display, 1.6GHz Intl Atom N270 CPU, 160GB hard drive, and 1GB of RAM. The laptop supports 802.11b/g and draft-n WiFi.

You can find some higher resolution images of the Sotec C102 at the company’s web site. The netbook should begin shipping this weekend.

China must have developed some genetically modified
rice – Rice that grows NetBook clones. ;)

There are as many of these things as grains of rice
in a rice paddy. All about as similar as grains of rice.

Anything that gets rid of Hello Kitty is good by me.
