Laser Etched netbook with every Super Mario level

Sure, the Asus Eee PC netbook has a sleek, glossy lid which is attractive, if a bit prone to collecting fingerprints. But you know what would make it look even better? Images of every single level of the Game Boy version of Super Mario Land.

OK, it might not be everyone’s cup of tea. But one guy decided to use a laser etcher to carve the design into his Eee PC. You can see more images of the Mario-themed Eee PC by following that link to Flickr.

And whether you like the look or not, I’m betting the design does cut down on the number of fingerprints you’ll leave on the lid.

Nice idea but I think I could find something a bit more this decade for the lid.
