To "Fix" the original "2133 that came with Novell SuSE SLED" with 4 GB SSD (talked to HP rep today who told me that the old SSD in that device was indeed slower then will be in the newer model of the 2133)... well, to fix the old one with SLED that would lock up and was so so so slow... try looking at putting CrunchBang 8.10.2 on it. Still might need to play with video drivers, add OpenOffice if you want from Ubuntu Repositories, maybe add DigiKam too if you want, or even replace Claws mail with Thunderbird. Very customizable. AND VERY FAST TO USE.

Albeit - SLED might have worked faster on a better read write performing SSD (that was also a bit bigger). Crunchbang even had about only a GIG of SSD left after it was installed (but before OpenOffice, FireFox, DigiKam being added that left about half a gig after installation... maybe a bit less, but still better than SLED's performance on the same hardware.

I hope they polish their implementation of Suse. It is a great distro and set up correctly on this netbook it would be all most people ever need. Last time HP's offering seemed "half baked".
