Flying with netbooks – not what you think

aspire-one-air

Remember when some guy decided to take his Eee PC where no netbook had gone before by sticking it in a Ziploc bag and dipping it in a swimming pool? Yeah, today we’ve got a stunt that just might top that.

For Acer’s “Want One” Contest,  David Aldrich took an Acer Aspire One netbook hang gliding. I’m pretty sure the WiFi reception up there stinks, but the video’s still pretty cool to watch. Check it out after the break.

It ia amazing what a little photoshopping with do!

(In other words, there is no way that he was actually using that Acer while flying.)

It could easily be done. I fly one handed and take pictures with the other all the time!

    Photoshop can't edit video ;)

There were several cameras mounted around the frame, including one right by his face that you could see from the other cameras, so it's possible that it's real… it still looks like green screen work when he's actually using the laptop though, so I don't know.
