Archos Netbook is a rebranded Hasee MJ125

You know that Archos netbook we spotted the other day? It looks like it’s a rebranded Hasee MJ125. Not that there’s anything wrong with that. The Hasee netbook has a 10.2 inch, 1024  x 600 pixel display, a 1.6GHz Intel Atom CPU, 1Gb of RAM, a 160GB hard drive, and measures 10.2″ x 7.4″ x 1.1″ while weighing just over 3 pounds.

It might have been nice to see Archos build a netbook that takes advantage of the company’s expertise with multimedia devices. Perhaps a computer with an ARM CPU and a custom operating system designed for web browsing and media playback. But it probably makes more sense for a company like Archos to partner with an experienced computer maker to build their first laptop.
