Im Battery Eater Test konnte der, wie für diese Zubehörteile üblich, potthässliche Akku etwa fünfeinhalb Stunden aushalten. In einem etwas realistischeren Test mit normalem Surf und Arbeitsverhalten brachten es die Jungs aus der MyDellMini-Community auf achteinhalb Stunden, nachdem ein Arbeitstag dann ja auch zu Ende sein sollte . Momentan wird der Akku wohl nur über eBay verkauft und kostet $68.
