MSI plans to showcase the newest models in its Wind netbook lineup at CES in January. The company first unveiled plans for the MSI Wind U110 and U115 about a week ago. Both computers include the Intel Atom Z530 CPU which consumes less power than the Intel Atom N270 chip used in many netbooks today. And the U115 has an unusual storage system, using both solid state and hard disks.
It’s not exactly surprising to find out that MSI will have the netbooks on display at CES next month. But it is a bit exciting, since I’ll be attending the show in Las Vegas and I’ve already booked an interview with MSI’s Andy Tung. So you can expect to see a whole lot of additional information about these devices soon.
