netbook-world-summit-ustreamA number of industry leaders are meeting today in Paris for the first Netbook World Summit. Sascha from Eee PC News and Pierre from Blogeee are both on hand, and Pierre has set up a live video stream of the event which you can check out after the break.

If you don’t have the time or inclination to sit through the all day conference, some of the highlights are already starting to appear online. For example, Sascha reports that Asus plans to have touchscreen Eee PC models available within the next 6 weeks. The company plans to show them off at CES in January. I’ll be attending CES, so I’ll make sure to shoot some video. It’s not clear at the moment whether Asus will have anything more revolutionary to show off.
