UMPC Buyers Guide: The perfect pre-stocking stuffer

Looking to buy a netbook, UMPC, or MID, but not sure what sets one apart from another? Chippy at UMPC Portal has put together a comprehensive guide explaining pretty much everything you need to know before rushing out to buy your next (or first) ultraportable computing device.

The UMPC Buyers Guide doesn’t present a long list of devices. For that, Chippy and I use the UMPC Portal and Liliputing product databases. But what you will find in the Buyers guide is extensive information about processors, displays, input methods, and other information that will help you decide of a 5 inch touchscreen UMPC or a 10 inch netbook is right for you.

The UMPC Buyers Guide 2008 is available as a downloadable PDF file. Or you can view the original 5 part series of articles that are contained in the guide at UMPC Portal.
